2008 Auto Accident:
Teenage girls were driving in a rural area when the driver suddenly veered the car. The passengers were ejected from the vehicle. Our client suffered lacerations and a concussion. The case was ultimately settled for $250,000.00.
2008 Boating Accident:
The Roberts Law Firm represented clients in the United States District Court in the Western District of Missouri for injuries received as a result of a boating collision. There were also wrongful death claims filed on behalf of other passengers not represented by the firm. Despite the number of claims filed against the insurance company's accident liability policy limits the two client's represented by The Roberts Law Firm were successful in settling with the Defendants for a total award of $175,000.00. As part of that litigation the firm was successful in negotiating substantial discounts in outstanding medical liens and health insurance subrogation claims on behalf of their clients resulting in a net increase in the monetary award to the clients.
